Erica You know, I liked this kit when I bought it, but I was never really TOO excited to get it painted. What excited me the most was the Schierke kit instead. But seriously... when I saw what John did with this kit, I couldn't believe my eyes. This kit really evokes emotion, and the fact that something like resin and paint can actually do this to a full grown man, is either pathetic on my behalf, or freaking INCREDIBLE. Obviously, I will go with the latter. I didn't give John much direction on this kit. I pretty much gave him free reign. All I basically said was, "Umm, give her blonde hair, blue eyes, and make her look sad, but subtly." Well, I think John pretty much nailed it in every way. Looking at her is just amazing! Erica is just the sweetest darling ever. I wish I could hug her but I don't want to smear the paint or accidentally knock off her head! =P Really, John... what can I really say? This kit far exceeded my expectations. I am in love. (note: all pictures by John Allred, himself)
