I really don't need to say much here.  If you are a fan of AMG, and if you are a fan of resin statues, you should already know what this is.  It's not as rare as the Belldandy: Wind statue that I own, but it's by far the most popular, most desired, and most valuable Ah! My Goddess statue of all time.  It took me a while to get this one, but damn... it was worth it.  Just look at it.  How could anyone disagree?  This statue is a masterpiece.

In terms of how many exist in the world... to my knowledge, there are 2 releases.  The first release, which is what I have, is the Japanese Domestic release, limited to 1000 pieces.  Then, there is a Worldwide release limited to 3000 pieces.  However, I'm not sure if the 3000 includes the 1000 Japanese pieces, or if the total is 4000 pieces overall.  In terms of what's different about the releases, the only thing I'm aware of is that the Japanese release comes with a certificate that is stamped with a red insignia, where as the Worldwide release does not.  To some collectors, this is a big deal.  To others, who really cares?

For packaging, this statue comes in a similar box that the Guts: Hawk Soldier on Horse statue comes in, which is quite an impressive box.  It's like a treasure chest, but sexier!  Also, the size of this statue is just incredible.  Look at the last shot with the 3 AMG gashapon figures.  Those figures are a little over 5 inches tall...  Yahh... so you can imagine how IMMENSE the Holy Bell statue is.  This is the first statue that required me to rotate my camera vertically!

Lastly, I've been asked a few times which statue I like more... THIS one or the WIND statue.  It's a tough call, to be honest.  Each statue has its plusses and minuses.  I would say, purely from a display point of view, this Holy Bell statue is more impressive and more grand.  It's bigger, it's more shiny, and it's more unique.  However, personally, I'm more attached to the Wind statue because it portrays Belldandy in a more familiar way.  When I envision Belldandy, I picture her in her trademark blue outfit, floating in the air like the angel she is.  But of course, in the end, both statues are very, VERY precious to me.
